All of our sequins were made in Belgium in the 1960's. They all had an original "Made in Belgium" tag, and some of the tags had a peacock on the reverse side. They all had a metal clip (you don’t see these anymore) holding the strands together.

This is a vintage eight inch strand of 5mm pink sequins. One side of the sequins have a reflective (not quite metallic) finish to them. The photo doesn’t really show this well.

We counted about 100 sequins per inch, so this strand has about 800 sequins!!!

We took a single photo of the five colors together. They're not the easiest things to photograph as they reflect the flash. The top four are all about 5mm, and the larger 5.5mm is the lavender.
